Sakshi Mallik's arrival boost’s Athletes; Minister S.T. Somashekhar
Sri S.T. Somashekhar, Minister for Co-operation and District In-charge Minister ,Mysuru said the arrival of Rio Olympics Bronze Medalist, wrestler Sakshi Mallik at the Dasara Games has inspired the sportsmen
After hoisting the flag of the Dasara Games organized by the Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports at Chamundi Vihar on the occasion of Mysore Dasara , he said wrestlers from different states have arrived for the Dasara wrestling tournament. He also said Sakshi Mallik should advice and instruct the fellow wrestlers.
A total of more than 5400 people including 4600 athletes, 800 technical staff participated in this Dasara Games , apart from providing all the facilities to the athletes, a lot of development work is being done in the Sports Department by the Minister of Sports Sri . Narayana Gowda he said ..
