Mysore Dasara Web Site Launched by Minister Sri. S.T. Somashekhar
Mysuru: The world-renowned Mysore Dasara 2021 web site was inaugurated by the Minister of Co-operation and District IN charge Minister of Mysore and Chamarajanagar Sri. S.T. Somashekhar on Friday morning (1st of Oct 2021) at the Mysore Palace Board with all the executive members.
This time the Dasara ritual is being performed in a simple and traditional manner in the due to pandemic situation. Dasara programs will be livestream Virtual. He said that the programs will be streamed live on the official Dasara web site, YouTube, and Facebook.
The complete details of jumbo savaari, parades, inauguration of Dasara and cultural events in the palace premises have been published in the web site. Along with details of the Mysore Palace, the zoo walks, and the details are available in both Kannada and English. This website was developed in the domain of NIC.
The website contains the information of the programs and details of History of Dasara, Inaugural Introduction, Subcommittee Details, Events List, Past Dasara Jubilee Photo, Tourist Sites. It is published in both Kannada and English to assist visitors from across country and from across the world.
This year’s dasara is celebrated in a simple and traditional manner considering the Covid 19 third wave and safety of people. Dasara will be celebrated in a safe manner without violating the Covid 19 protocols.
