Mysuru , September 16: The countdown for the World famous Mysuru Dasara has started. Training is underway for the Elephants who will participate in the Mysuru Dasara Jambusavaari. Today, the practice of exploding explosives was conducted for the second time through cannons, and the practice was successful without any disturbance for the Elephants and Horses. A drill was conducted to warm up the Elephants and the Horses participating in the World famous Mysuru Dasara Jambusavaari on October 5 2022. Today, there was a practice of exploding explosives through a three-round cannon at the vehicle parking of the exhibition ground, for which preparations were made beforehand. On September 12 2022 , when the first round of explosives detonation exercise took place , Horses and three Elephants were scared . But this time , they stood strong without being distracted by the sound of explosives. DCP-3 Sri. Shivaraj said that the exercise of detonating the second round of explosives through a cannon took place today in the parking area of the exhibition grounds. “We used to do it near the Mysuru Palace every time. But this time, it was done in the parking area to prevent damage of the Mysuru Palace . Happy to say that this time , no animals were scared by the sound of explosives. A total of 41 Horses and 12 Elephants participated in the training . The overall average sound of the explosives was 92.2 decibels” , he mentioned. On September 23, the third round of the training will be held.
